My technician was Bob F. He came on time as promised and gave me detailed information on getting a new furnace. The information included three types of furnaces we could get, the prices of each one, all the work that is included in the pricing, and gave me a written, detailed quote. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I appreciate the additional information he gave me on the company warranties, how technicians are hired, and much more. This is the second time we have had Bob come to our house and both times he gave excellent service.

I have used them in the past and when I called to get a simple estimate for a drain cleaning, which they've done before, they wouldn't provide a number. Said it would be the same as last time and I didn't have my paperwork and they still wouldn't give me a estimate. They also have $88 dollars on their website, but said that was a promotional 1 time offer, which it doesn't say on their website. Super shady business and I don't need to deal with companies that can't even give me an estimate over the phone. I"m calling another company.

DISHONEST, EXPENSIVE and POOR COMMUNICATION WITHIN THE COMPANY. My sewer backs up. I call at 10 PM and they say they will send someone out for the after-hours rate of $75 (regularly $49). Get a call back a half hour later, apologizing, that it is actually going to be $99. At midnight I get a call, wanting to give me a head's up that they haven't been able to reach the tech on call, or his supervisor, or his manager. Offer to set up an appointment for 8 AM. Not happy, because we'd like to shower before work and school. Around 7 AM I get a call to say they see I was told 8, but they don't book exact times, so it will be between 8 and 10. Guy shows up at 9:30. Wants to run a camera in the pipe. I ask him how much it'll cost. Says, "Don't worry, it'll be included in the $88." I say, "I was told $49," and told him the story of the prices. He says, "Who did you talk to? I've never heard of those amounts. We don't charge $49, $75 or $99 for *anything*. Don't worry about what the office told you. I'm the one here to serve you." The camera shows I have blockage in my pipe, but also that pipes are misaligned. He quotes me $15.8K and $12.5K to replace the pipes (two different approaches). Says they can do it the next day. I say, "I'm going to get other quotes." He says, "That's fine. But people in this industry know each another and we all charge about the same amount." I ask him how much it'll be to clean out the blockage. He says $274. I tell him I'm not willing to pay that much. As he's writing up the quote, I call their office to get clarity on the service call price. They tell me it is indeed $49. He overhears and realizes what I'm doing, makes a cut motion to direct me to get off the phone and in a low voice says, "I'm not going to charge you anything." Later I get a call back from a manager who evidently was told about the phone call and wanted to investigate. She tells me ARS doesn't charge for sewer backup service calls, and that, for first time customers such as me, clearing a blockage is $88, not $274. She apologizes and offers to send out a more expert tech on Saturday at 10 AM. Saturday comes around and no one shows up. I call them at 1 PM to find out what happened. They tell me they have no record that anyone was ever scheduled to come out. Since then, I have received three quotes for the work from other firms. (One of the contractors cleared the pipe for me for $99, getting me out of "emergency territory.") All the estimates were free. The quotes have been $7,000, $6,200 and $5,200. This is for the same work the ARS guy bid at $15,800!

Was looking for an AC unit as our was not working in the new house we bought. It was easy to schedule an apt, and Nova was very knowledgeable. She came to the house several times, and spoke with her manager on our behalf to help us out with financing and working with what we could do. They made exceptions so we could get what we needed, and we are so happy with how quickly the installed, and our new ac unit. The whole process was easy and quick. Their customer service is some of the hugest I have ever seen. I will tell all my friends about this company.
