Where Art Walks the Runway

Story

Art Walks the Runway in the fourth annual iconcept Fashion Show. A select group of talented artists from the Sarasota area were invited to display their work through the medium of fashion. Witness their creativity come to life in a dazzling runway show. Using mostly non-traditional materials, the artists are challenged to create unique, over-the-top pieces that express their artistic vision. iconcept 2012 will once again blow the audience away with outrageous fashion and creative performances.

Participating artists include: Carl Abbott, Jenny Acheson, Iris Baranski-Daniels, Lisa Berger, Monica Bello, Sara Carney, Eric Cross, Patricia Gormley, Marcia Ente, Whitley Floyd, Sarah Ford, Larry Forgard, Ofra Friedman, Barbara Gerdeman, Zach Gilliland, Fayanne Hayes, Amanda Landesberg, Willow Livengood, Joeseph Mastropaolo, Elizabeth Meyer, Christina Michiels, Andrea Mihalyffy, Ray Peper, Stephanie Peters, Vicky Randall, Dale Rieke, Jane Smith, Pamela Sumner and Sharon White

Proceeds from this event will benefit Art Center Sarasota’s youth and adult education programs, outreach for underserved youth, over 20 all-media art exhibitions annually and culturally oriented public programming.
