The best place!  I've been a client for almost 15 years, I see Toni for stylist and Peal for color they are both top notch!!  Highly recommend this salon, so down to earth!

I've been a long-time client at Arte Salon, but am leaving this salon because the level of service and professionalism has taken a downturn. I've noticed a high level of complacency amongst the few remaining staff; there's a noticeable decrease in the number of people working here. I've also noticed a decrease in clients as well. This definitely says something about the service.

I've had issues lately with both the color and cut. The colorists don't check their work; if you don't complain, they don't care. What really turned me off at my last visit, amongst other issues, is the nasty gossip. In particular, gossip about another stylist (Natalie) and another client. I was shocked to hear a colorist talking badly about Natalie to one of her clients. One of the salon owners cuts my hair and she made nasty comments about another one of her clients and about Natalie and the fact that Natalie's clients are African-American. I'd hate to think what they say about me to their other clients!

The prices here are what you would pay at a high-end salon like Mario Tricocci or an Aveda salon, but the service is definitely not at the same level. And the shampoo bowls are unbelievably painful! Everybody complains about the shampoo bowls, but the owners haven't replaced them in the 10+ years I've been going to this salon. 

After over 10 years of visiting this salon, I won't be coming back. I'd rather spend my money elsewhere.

Pearl the colorist is a true talent!  I have tried many salons in the area and she is by far the best!  The salon is clean, friendly and fair prices.  Love it!!

I'll be honest I have been going here for years, and I'm very picky, Toni has given me the best haircuts ever, and I will never go anywhere else!  I used to work downtown and did frequently go to a very upscale salon but never recieved the great work and talent that I get from Toni, she really keeps me looking great I am hooked for life!!!!!!!  Precision cutting, great blow drys, no one ever leaves her chair unsatisified!!!
