The Mission of the Arts and Humanities Council of Southwest Louisiana is to expand, enrich, and strengthen the diverse cultural heritage of the Imperial Calcasieu region by providing assistance and support to area arts and cultural organizations and programs through its four core grant opportunities. Though developing the arts as a viable sector of Louisiana's economy, the Arts Council gives residents and visitors a rich ecosystem of music, food, literature, and art in their community while helping to build a brighter cultural economy for Louisiana.
