After years of having nothing but woods behind me, they bulldozed down every tree, and started building a subdivision. They are building the lots up 3 ft or so. Even with 6ft tall privacy fence, that had been there for years, I could see the construction guys walking around the lot from the elbows up! If you look at the "before" pic, you can see the top of the lower section of window, that you raise when you open the window. I checked with a couple of fence companies for a TALL fence. Ascension Fence & Deck LLC came up with a novel idea at a great price. A 2x12 runner along the bottom and 8ft pickets to give me 9ft of glorious privacy. They also started when they said they would, did what they said they were going to do, and finished when they said they would. Seams to be a rarity in this day and age. But most importantly, I went from being able to see 1/2 of the windows of my new neighbors. And therefore they having the ability to be able to look in my house, to... nuttin but roof!
