The Ashton House Museum is open from April through December. Special tours can be arranged any Monday or Tuesday or after regular business hours. The cost is $3.00 for adults; $2.00 for children 4-12; 3 and under free.
The museum was established as a place for young and old alike to view the changing history of our nation. Artifacts date back to the 1800's and are changed every April and August. The museum is named after John and Evelyn Ashton who opened Ashton's 5&10 store in Carrollton in 1932. The variety store remains open today. Join us for a nostalgic tour and a view of our culture as it once was.
