I would have rated Aspen Dental at 5 Stars if it weren't for an issue I had. I had a severe infection and was prescribed antibiotics, but the dentist did not sign my prescription and they couldn't give me the medicine at the pharmacy. I had to call Aspen Dental 3 times to remind them to call the pharmacy. I kept getting we will call right now, an hour later I called the pharmacy and they still hadn't received a call, then I called Aspen Dental and she said I have the file pulled up but I haven't had a chance to call. I had gone to the dentist the day before so it's taken about 24 hours to get my antibiotics, and I'm still waiting to get them.

Went there for some pain in jaw..discovered i had a couple wisdom teeth needing extracting and some fillings...Dr only did 2 of 6 issues i had. I had 2 fillings and 2 extractions but still had pain in my lower left side and i notice a dark spot on a tooth i thought they filled but didnt....i keep calling to get help ..they keep telling me thats not under treatment plan, the dr didnt feel it is a issue...the i called today 10/30/17 and say im hurting ..she says let me get your file (to make an appt???) Then tells me its not under her treatment plan again and she hasnt documented i have pain or need treatment for the issues( duh, how could she if i cant get an appt or any help or care ) and told me i would have to pay $45 plus fees and other treatment...mind you i have over $1400 in dental insurance left but i gotta pay cash..i told them ...you lost a patient and will not return ....HORRIBLE PATIENT TO DOCTOR CARE..CONCERN AND COMPASSION!!! GO AT UR OWN RISK!!

This was hands down the best experience with the dentist industry I have ever experienced. I had three women help me out and I feel terrible for not recalling all three names but the lady who take my X-Rays and checked for healthy gums WAS outstanding. Very patient women and comforting to be around. Katherine Jones was my dentist and she made me feel right at home. She was relatable and respectful and throughout the visit she was very informative. These are the type of people who make going to the dentist as easy as possible. When I left I was helped by a very fair woman named Chelsy and she helped me schedule all other appointments as efficiently as possible! I was very pleased with my overall experience. I highly recommend this location for your dental needs for I feel very comforted knowing I am in the hands on these outstanding individuals!

VERY pleasant staff and the dentist was very professional and friendly. What I liked best about the visit is being able to clearly view my x-rays and her pointing out the specific cavities. Usually dentists look at the x-rays & the patient never really understands what they are seeing -- so that was quite nice to be able to not only see the x-rays up close but have them explained in detail. A two hour visit though for an initial visit --- however...well, that IS a long time! SECOND VISIT for ACTUAL "DENTAL" WORK: Friendly staff, particularly the dentist.....very likable. Professional appearances, clean office.. But.....frankly after two visits, I can say I feel like I'm a widget on an assembly line here --- being pushed through the various stages of completion ...or not...that said...It IS nice they explain stuff ... but there IS no explanation for what happened on the second visit when actual work was done. VERY pricey. Three fillings came to around $500. Seriously. Perhaps that's the norm now, but that said --- those three fillings only -- took about 2.5 hours. I'd hate to find out how much a crown or root canal might fare. LONG WAITS in a dental chair with a cute little TV to distract you are the norm. I've been there for my original examination and then decided to have them do three fillings .... mistake. The exam process took around three hours MINUS the promised dental cleaning advertised. That was just to wait for the dentist. And wait....and wait....and wait.... This last time was not quite so long, but almost. Then the lady who is the dentist came on in & got to business.. When I finally got home and started to floss and clean my teeth the next morning, I could NOT get the floss in between my teeth without it shredding it to bits, something that was not a problem prior to the dental work. I was picking threads of floss between the two teeth for days each time I tried. There was literally a lump of some sort of hard cement on the back of my tooth, but since getting in there and also the whole process usually constitutes 3 hours, appointment or not -- I decided to let my friend's husband in the Denver area (where I was visiting) look at the problem while having him work on my teeth there. 45 minutes later he was having to polish and scrape away what he discovered as a "composite spilling out over the edges and around a neighboring tooth from another completed filling." He said it was one of the most shocking "jobs" he'd seen in 30 years. Thanks to this botched $500 job from Aspen Dental, since I could not floss the tooth -- I have an infection underneath it now. Granted, I could have called them and maybe they would have fixed the problem earlier, but like most folks I don't have 2-3 hours for REPEAT procedures. Additionally, I became uneasy about what would happen if it couldn't be done correctly the first round. Ultimately, I wanted a different dentist's opinion about the matter since I could tell something was seriously amiss over a simple filling. So, I'm out the $500 for a less than satisfactory 3-filling job, my gums are sore from an unnecessary infection, but thanks to Dr. Bauman -- I can floss there now and I don't feel like there is a cement mixer in my mouth. Seriously. Three hours of time spent plus the needed clean up by another dentist. Save your money, your time, and patience, and maybe even your gum line and teeth by avoiding Aspen Dental. Yes, they are nice and friendly -- but come on...composite spilling over from a filling onto another tooth and cementing the two areas together and left there? $500 for that? Avoid the drama, empty pocketbook, and HOURS of wasted time --- find another dentist!
