Please, share this post to spread the word about Associated Bank! On Friday, I received a levy on my account. Funds frozen. Today, worked it out to get said levy lifted. Not a huge deal. However, in the mean time, despite having a positive balance in my account, Associated Bank is charging me NSF fees. So far they've mishandled the levy, treated me like garbage (thanks Connie at Associated Bank in Pekin) and now they've literally stolen $170 from me in "fees". $70 of that should not even exist because my balance never went negative. The negative exists because of a hold, not a withdrawal and not a deduction in funds. I want to make sure nobody ever has this experience. I want to preach the gospel of how many other great banks there are around here that you can bank at that won't nickel and dime you. I've never had a pleasant experience. It's always been mediocre at best. But now they've crossed the line. They are basically stealing at this point by using silly, nonsensical, illogical math. If there are any beaureaus or agencies I can report this ludicrous activity to, please let me know and I will gladly file paperwork with every last one of them. The mafia takes a smaller cut than these guys...

I'm not a customer of Associated Bank. Went to cash a check drawn on this Bank from one of their customers. There's a $6 fee to cash this check. Ridiculous. This it was an opportunity for this bank to engage me possibly gain my business. Obviously being charge to cash a check drawn on their bank I would never bring my business here. Terrible way to do business. This business obviously has no understanding of customer engagement.
