This neighborhood supermarket is sometimes crowded and sometimes dirty and crowded. Some of the staff isn't particularly comfortable communicating in English, and Spanish flows freely, here. It's typical of many establishments on the Lower East Side of Manhattan.

If you're on a budget, this is your local go to grocery store. A good variety of items, including a gluten free section near the entrance. They don't appear to take requests though. Can get crowded at times, so try to shop in the day if you can.

Aisles are so narrow! Why place ice cream in the smallest? I wanna stare at all the flavors & pretty colors while I argue w/ myself about the virtues of ice cream. Staff is lovely; managers stressed out. Produce is fresh enough but picking' are slim. Tragically little ethnic food. Mostly Stuy Town residents, who appear to really enjoy Entemmens's cakes, whole chickens & long deli counter lines. You're better off at Trader Joe's two blocks up or Key Food on Ave A & 4th St.

Pretty standard supermarket. Staff isn't always helpful but I don't expect a 16 year old kid to care all that much about their job. Produce isn't always fresh either.

Good spot for the area. Not a big selection and staff aren't very helpful/knowledgeable​. Super crowded!!!
