This is my third or fourth time coming here, and i have gotten such great service every time. I am glad to have found a place that i can confidently go to for both highlights and cuts. Such sweet ladies, a beautiful atmosphere and great prices!

I'm so extremely shocked by this place. I remember always driving by and thinking how cute it looked from the outside but I had no idea how amazing it was on the inside till today! I needed an emergency blowout for an event I had and they were able to get me in within an hour of me calling! My stylist was Amanda and she was so kind and knew exactly what to do with my hair, and so easy to chat with. I left the salon and felt my hair and was so shocked at how smooth it was! If I ever need another blowout in a pinch I know where to go!! Thanks so much Astoria Salon & Amanda!

WARNING: DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME.  
With that said..... Astoria salon and crew did save me from seriously unwanted GREEN hair. The hair drama  unfolded like this... I died my hair Blue {at home 😳}and just couldn't deal with the after disaster.
 I'm talking swamp water green after effects. (See photo)

Mortified to report my home dye job to the professionals I tried a few you tube remedies (the situation was getting worse by the day- I won't even tell you what I did with crushed vitamins). Finally I admitted I needed professor help. My hair was in tough shape. I called Astoria and they immediately were on the case!!! I arrived 15 minutes later and learned someone had gone to the store to buy the ingredients to fix my self created disaster. 

The work was seriously cut out for the salon that day and you should know this took 6 plus hours to fix. Hence the title Don't Try this at Home. How my green hair returned to a brass free blonde? How was the texture not ruined? A miracle I tell you and I attribute it to girls at Astoria and their divine hair super powers!

Amanda was fantastic when I got my keratin treatment! She described everything in detail for me and my hair came out fantastic. Went from frizzy curls to sleek straight hair. She took her time and really cared about the outcome of my hair. The cut was great too!
