Great dinner spot. My husband and I shared the grilled cheese en carozza massive, good but a little oily, took the rest of it home!. I had the street corn salad with grilled chicken, it was phenomenal. Didn’t quite remind me of street corn, but it was delicious. My husband had a custom burger and he loved it. The waitress was super nice, too!
You can’t miss it, It’s on the Corner. This was a great night because the service from our waiter was outstanding. The appetizers of pretzel knots, truffle fries, and sweet potato fries was a big hit. Everyone at the table was impressed with the quality and freshness of our meals. The burgers were cooked with perfection and adding their Corner sauce made it mouth watering on every bite. Great location in the center of Litchfield.
Stopped in around 5pm on a Tuesday for snacks and drinks at the bar. Service was friendly. The bar was busy considering the day and time. The food and drinks were very good. The drunken pear Brussels sprouts are very delicious and worth a try. The food menu and drink selections are creative and change seasonally. Looking forward to my next visit and trying something new.
We came for an early dinner, 5:00 on a Tuesday. I ordered grilled chicken Caesar salad $22 and my husband had scallops risotto $32. We chose a window seat and the table was set with a glass on a paper napkin, cloth napkin with the silverware wrapped inside, and small plates. I went to move the glass on the paper napkin and it was stuck to the table from food that was left before me. My salad was pretty good but there were several pieces of the ends of the Parmesan wheel that was tough to chew and it was extremely garlicky. I noticed the table next to us had bread on it. When I was finally able to get the waitresses attention, I asked for bread and butter. She said it would take a minute because it had to be heated. No problem. It took several minutes and was so toasted that it was brittle. When the check comes, we see that they charged us $2 for the three slices of bread that literally scraped the roof of my mouth. Husband enjoyed the risotto, but there were only 3 good sized scallops. One of the desserts we got was the cannoli. Unfortunately they filled them earlier today because the cannoli shell was soggy. The chocolate raspberry tart was very good and the ginger cookie was very good. The location and price for these dinners deserves better service and cleaner/nicer tables tables need refinishing. We had an older waitress who was loud and spoke to the customers like she was doing them a favor, not as if she were there to serve.
This is my second visit to this restaurant. It's become a must recommend for my foodie friends in CT. The menu is superb. I enjoyed my sandwich and salad and can't wait to come back for dinner. Service was friendly and helpful. Vegetarian options: Multiple meat free options. Parking: Easily walkable free parking
I've eaten here twice, and both times the food was well prepared. I’ve had their French onion soup, which came in a cute mug, and their quail dish. The staff was friendly. My only complaint is I wish they still had duck on their menu.
We made reservations for 5 people for 1 pm ,at about 11:30 they called to say they had a water leak and wouldn’t be able to open due to no water. At 12:15 they called back to say they had problem solved and will be able to accommodate us. Arrived there and greeted and taken to our table. Service was great and the animal burger was done perfectly plus other meals great ,leftovers for dinner tonight Can’t say enough about the place, service and food .
Mac and cheese with chicken was very good. Blooming black garlic onion was also good, but the lava caramel cake was the perfect ending to the meal. A bit sweet but still very good. New menu, new staff, our server was pretty good. She was very personable and friendly.
I came here on a Friday evening for an early dinner with 3 others while visiting the area. When we got there the place was empty but were told it might be hard to accommodate us since we didn't have reservations. Luckily they did still seat us but when we were finished the place was still empty, so a little confusing. But regardless the food was good, especially the stuffed jalapenos. I also found the cowboy burger tasty and a good deal. We also ordered the street style brussel sprouts and while tasty they were a bit too salty. All the servers were friendly and the inside was cute. I'd recommend a stop in.
Sarah pur server & everyone on the staff was very friendly & professional ! Hubby had Korean chicken sandwich & I had the tuna tartare tostada but instead of the spicy ranch sauce I had the scallion ginger sauce & it was soooooo delicious !!
