Athena Bodywork offers Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Medical, and Sports Massage therapy in Corvallis, OR.

Story

We base our practice around the philosophy that the body is best able to heal and care for itself when it is in a relaxed and calm state. Therefore massage sessions focus on relieving any ongoing muscle-tension and pain to relax the physical body, while creating a serene atmosphere to calm the mind.

We work closely with every client to understand their needs and plan a treatment session that they will love. Additional modalities such as deep tissue, trigger-point therapy, hot stone massage, and application of heat or cold are just some of tools my client and I have available to us in creating a treatment plan.

It had been a few years since my last deep tissue massage and I was a little nervous finding someone new since I moved to Corvallis, but Athena Bodywork was exactly what I was looking for. They are extremely accommodating and offer a welcoming environment. The space feels very cozy and safe. Shiloh knew what my body needed more than I did. I came in with the idea of getting a full body deep tissue massage just to get back into the routine. I ended up getting a more targeted massage which was what my body needed. I came out feeling so much better and will certainly be back.

After suffering injuries from severe whiplash several years ago, I seek therapists who can comfortably challenges areas of pain with intuition, care, and confidence. My massage session at Athena Bodywork was everything I look for in a bodywork experience: relaxing, restorative, and informative. Shiloh is attentive and knowledgeable, and the space is pleasant, inviting, and professional. Highly recommend.

Athena Bodywork is wonderful. I have had several great experiences with 60 and 90 minute Swedish massage as well as deep tissue massage. It's a small but comfortable and relaxing space. Shiloh Thomas knows what she's doing!
