They were horrible. They damaged so many of my belongings including my brand new painted walls and the process for compensation is laughable. It is an outsourced company that handles claims and everything is done through a link. You never speak with a human neither is there a customer service number for the claims company. By the way they packed and unpacked everything. I didn't care to address every claim but now my daughters are without a dresser and I am liable for the damaged to a brand renovated apartment. The movers were even caught by neighbors throwing belongings from the top of the stairs to the bottom. Avoid at all cost not because the job was done so poorly but because this company has zero integrity, accountability, and care for the customer's experience. When ownership and management is careless it's naive to expect quality from their employees. Would NOT recommend AT ALL hire at your own risk. Even with insurance some things just can't be replaced.
It is hard to imagine how any company could have done a worse job for us. I called Atlanta Peach well in advance of my move and made an appointment for packers to arrive the day before the movers. I received emailed paperwork to confirm everything, and I worked hard to get ready for the move. The day the packers were to arrive, they never showed.. I called Atlanta Peach and was told that a “VIP” customer had needed help and that the packers would not arrive the day before the movers, as I had been promised. I should have known to ask to become a VIP customer when I booked the services and signed the contract! I was furious at this treatment, but I had no options except to insist that the packers arrive early the next morning and finish packing before the movers arrived. The next morning, the movers arrived first, and an hour or so later a group of packers showed up. I lacked the language skills to make myself understood, and after a round of very stressful phone calls, someone identifying herself as a comlany manager arrived at my home. The packers under her management performed poorly; with both packers and movers in the house at the same time, everyone was underfoot and the scene became increasingly chaotic and stressful. This company boasts of its VIP clientele and its ability to pack, store, and move valuables. Imagine my state of mind when, near the end of the move-out, a teenager walked through my living room, handed me an unboxed lampshade, told me it seemed too fragile, for the truck, and then disappeared. This scenario repeated itself all morning long. The truck with the Atlanta Peach team arrived at the storage facility, followed shortly by a group of four or five additional men. I was told by the crew boss that these guys would now be helping. I had no idea who they were, whether they were employed by Atlanta Peach, or whether they were insured or how they would be compensated. Thi gs got worse as this group of now eight or ten people started unloading the truck, and I realized many of our most vulnerable belongings had never been packed or wrapped, but simply put on the truck as they were. I found an unwrapped, unprotected, unboxed piece of art leaning against the hallway wall of the storage unit where everything was being stored. There was also a stray television, also completely unwrapped and sitting on the floor. When I asked the movers about the art, one of the new arrivals laughingly said that it looked fine to him, and that I worried too much. The whole experience was absolutely awful. I wish I had asked the owner to come to collect the payment himself so he could have witnessed the mess his company had made. When I asked what the business owner would think of the misrepresentations his company had made and abuse I had experienced, I was told that his only concern was collections. Go figure. Shocking. The VIPs can keep this company for themselves!
