It's a beach, so it's awesome for that reason. Beaches mean Sunshine, warm sand under your feet, no worries, forgetting the workplace, and bikinis. So beaches are awesome because of that. Atlantic Beach is awesome as well, just like other beaches. I would give just about any Beach four out of five stars. If you like beaches, this is a beach, so you will like it.

Atlantic Beach is great! (Aside from lack of parking) dogs are allowed on beach unlike at Jax beach, just make sure to leash your pup. Lots of shopping and great food right on the water. My go to spot to relax :)

The beach sand it so soft u can mold it into a comfortable recliner and put your towel on it! Fun body surfing. Very smal surf waves. Beautiful water with temps in low 70s starting in March. Only concern is oil rigs causing water to feel greasy at times! Always take shower before heading out. Showers located at Jax Beach or your room @ local hotel.

Love the beach but I've been to better! Parking is difficult! Water is dirty and always has debris floating and chunks of garbage. People allow they're animals to poop in the water! It's always rough and cloudy water!
