I carried my 99 year old mother-in-law to see Dr. Marcus Heyder because of a tooth problem.  I was greeted by Ashley who worked us in soon after my call; she was a new patient.  Ashley was very helpful and professional.  We waited ten minutes as we did paperwork and the office was clean and well-decorated.  Upon meeting Dr. Header, we were well taken care of by both the Doctor and his nurse, Janie.  He explained our options in a professional manner and we both felt his primary concern was for his patient.  Afterwards, Janie explained everything again and asked that whatever our decision, they would like to hear from us again.  Everyone there was polite and caring.  We would definitely go back and I rate them a five plus!

While on vacation in the OBX, my husband was experiencing a major toothache. Something had to be done and he was able to get an appointment the next day. His tooth was cracked and had to be pulled. The dentist and staff were wonderful and very helpful.

I have been a client of theirs for about 15 years but not a very good client.  I never get cleanings or yearly checkups.  I only call upon them when I am in need of immediate attention.  I only have gone if I can get Dr. Markus Heyder.  Even with all my previously mentioned bad habits they have made sure I received the best of care. I just had my first experience in their Manteo office with  Dr Gunther Heyder.  The staff could not have been more friendly and re-assuring.  As for Dr. Gunther - I no longer need to ask for Markus only.

I took my children to the Manteo location. We waited over an hour, with no one else in the waiting room. They finally realized they had forgotten us. Once they got us back, it got even worse. Dr. Heyden  was extremely rude. He comes across very cocky and abrasive.  We will not be returning.

Fantastic! Our boy broke a tooth on vacation. They were able to fit us in due to a cancellation. Everyone was extremely friendly and professional. Dr. Heyder did a really great job on the repair, better than our dentist at home. Very glad we were able to get in,  I know anywhere else would have been second best.
