We stayed at the Atlantica Hotel Halifax for 5 nights at the end of September. This was our first visit to Halifax, and I am confident that we will return to this hotel. The location is wonderful, walking distance to the Citadel and to the Public Gardens; and a short drive or bus ride to the Harbourfront. The staff couldn't be more friendly - especially their concierges - make use of them! We travelled with our 20 month old son, and he was able to make use of their kiddie pool in their leisure centre (where there was also a good-sized pool, hot tub, sauna & fitness centre). The rates are super reasonable here - we will be back!

Quite nice. My partner and I enjoy walking so we didn't mind that downtown shops were several blocks away. The free appetizer option was very generous and the quality was good, especially the hummus and pita with antipasto. Delicious. The hotel bathroom was dirty, however eg hair from previous guest was visible. The rooms are somewhat dated but I did not mind that much. I would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the downtown core which is very nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The place was very clean and fairly well maintained. You had to pay an additional charge to park in their garage which was $20 dollars per night, which I would have preferred that price to be bundled in with the room.

The hotel has a good location. However, the rooms are dated and need some TLC. There is rust around the drains and shower heads could use some refresh. Restaurant is pretty good. Lobby is nice and the free car service around the town is a nice perk. Overall okay.

Great hotel located on the hill outside Halifax centre. Wide range of facilities including underground parking and swimming pool. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Room rates are reasonable and same online as just rocking up on the day.
