Favorite park in the Boston metro. Has it all. The Charles River, basketball hoops on a brand new court, big sand area with free toys to play with, real bathrooms, lots of nice picnic tables and grills, trails for biking or walking, fields for kickball or softball, playground equipment, and beautiful tennis courts. Even a park attendant in the community space. No reason not to give 5 stars. Secludes park that not too many people seem to know about. Had a birthday party there with absolutely no complaints. Check it out.

A delight! Sunny spots with PLENTY OF SHADE! Waterfowl sinning themselves on the banks if the Charles ... immaculate rest rooms, a book swap, 2 age-appropriate playgrounds for toddlers & "big kids" ... & a huge sand pile (with toy trucks & shovels!) for "kids" of ALL sizes. And yes, grills for grilling, too. Heaven.

Grilled 3 times there and all the family loved it. It has a parking, a playground for kids, on site grills and a green field where you can play football and other activities. Finally, it lies on Charles river.

A beautiful park, well maintained, plenty of parking, kids' playground. Nice walking trails.

This is the nicest park in the Waltham area for children. My son loves the trucks.
