The fashions are eclectic and flattering bringing an individual look to anyone who is tired of seeing the same old thing. Audrey * k offers styles that you won't see anywhere else due to the stores great support of local designers, and Audrey's very own personal designs! Her dresses are individually produced in Los Angeles and made in small quantities to guarantee exclusivity and is sold in the audrey * k boutique as well as in other boutique nation wide.
Audrey has a great sense of humor making her customers feeling at ease and comfortable with her down to earth personality. Most of the time while shopping other gals will gather and everyone is chatting and making new friends, so this great energy fills the air and once leaving you realize, "That was fun."

Who is Audrey K.

"Learning how to have fashionable character was influenced by the women in my life.

My Nana was an incredible seamstress and had a striking sense of style. She was always flawlessly fashioned and colored-coordinated from her sensational hats down to her cutting edge wooded clogs, which she would have flown in from Holland in every color. I remember the summers I spent with her and the looks and compliments she would receive on her hand-sewn outfits. Her golfing friends would repeatedly tell my sister and me, "Your Nana is always so delightfully dressed. She's the best looking one on the green." My Nana took great pride in looking feminine and charming with her attire. She was a true fashionista.

My mother was groomed in the modeling world in Las Vegas, Nevada where I was raised. I vividly remember watching her sit at her vanity and transform right before my eyes. The false eyelashes, the big fabulous wigs and tailored outfits added such beauty and glamour to an already style-conscious woman. Still, to this day when she poses for any picture she stands as if she is on the runway – poised and dignified.

When I opened my dress shop in 2007, not only did I want to honor the fashionable spirit of my mother and Nana, but I also wanted to bring back that sense of style and simple elegance to everyday dressing – with a modern twist of my own. If there’s anything my mother and Nana taught me, it’s that no matter a woman’s age, size or career, dresses are the perfect complement to any woman’s style and silhouette.

All these years later, I’m still shouting from the rooftops that dresses can be worn everyday and aren’t just for special occasions! Even though times have changed since the days of our retro years, I still truly believe all women deserve to dress beautifully – and can still be comfortable. When I design my dresses, I embrace the femininity and elegance that all women naturally possess. The difference is I also know how to design so that a woman can gracefully run to the grocery store in a dress and flip-flops because, hey, that’s reality! I envision that woman later on in the same dress throwing on a pair of heels, effortlessly making the transition to an evening look without standing in front of her closet for an hour wondering what to wear. Let’s be honest, not only do dresses make life prettier, they make it easier!

There’s nothing I love more than showing a woman how to cultivate her figure and how to end the frustration of trying to make the wrong clothes fit the right body that often accompanies dress shopping for so many women. I spend the time with each of my customers, teaching her how to find the right fit for her size and shape so that she can shop in confidence no matter where she goes.

My secret weapon is my sense of humor and my relaxed attitude, which I use to put to my customers at ease. I vow for women to never again feel the sting of a snooty sales clerk or be lead astray by a phony opinion. Often, while my customers are shopping, other ladies will gather and everyone starts chatting and making new friends. This great energy fills the air and I often hear them say, “that was fun!" That’s when I want to shout out one of my many favorite Batman exclamations, “Holy potato chip Batman, we've done it again!” because I know I’ve succeeded in showing women how fun and effortless dress shopping can be.

My passion for making women feel unique and beautiful is my inspiration and a constant theme that runs through everything I do. It’s who I am. When a customer leaves my shop, I often tell her, “Go and be fabulous!” My dress shop is the real deal without the pricey price tags and that's what's so refreshing.

I appreciate my customers and their faithful loyalty and I'm very blessed with the friendships I have made over the years.
