We stayed here as part of the Baseball Hall of Fame VIP package. The accommodations are very clean and spacious and the staff very nice. The continental breakfast was a good way to start the day. The lodge is set up on a hill providing pretty views. There is a heated pool and hot tub (we didn't have the opportunity to use them but they looked nice).

This is a stunning hotel. It is a huge wooden lodge. There is a pool, hot tub, private balconies and seating areas. Every one here is lovely. And there is a continental breakfast each morning. The view of the fog lifting from the mountains in the morning is breathtaking.

Very nice, comfortable beds. The staff is SUPER nice and helpful. Very quaint and picturesque. Nightly firepit, pool, hot tub.

I attended a wedding at the August lodge and it was wonderful. The rooms are large and are all equipted with a small kitchen. The place has spunk and all the doors are painted differently. It has some breathtaking views from the balconys and the staff is very friendly. The owner has a dog named chili that escorted me to my room and came down to dance with the wedding party. The lodge has a washer and dryer you can use, a pool, a hot tub, and a fire put. There are also picnic tables and a community grill. The Continental breakfast wasn't super fancy but it was cute. There are baskets you can use to bring food back to your room if you don't want to eat with everyone. And there is free coffee all day in the office. It also has some hiking trails and it conveniently located near a tops, a dollar store, and multiple restaurants. I had a wonderful time and would suggest the August Lodge to anyone looking to get away.
