Story

AUI Inc. (AUI) is a 100% New Mexico owned and operated corporation with over 30 years of experience in Heavy Highway Utility Construction Contracting. Founded in 1981, AUI has evolved with the times and the industry to become a multi-disciplined and diversified company offering an ever-increasing scope of services that include, but are not limited to:

• Utilities, wet and dry,
• Pipelines and related plant facilities, including pump stations and
treatment plants and associated piping;
• Structural concrete and bridges;
• Concrete paving and channels;
• Heavy dirtwork;
• Asphalt paving; and
• Trenchless technology including pipe bursting, slip-lining and
manhole rehabilitation. AUI currently leads the region in trenchless
pipe replacement technology.

In keeping with all necessary aspects of the above construction services, AUI is adept at maintaining responsible and clean work environments during activities of excavation and has experience with disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous materials and construction at environmentally sensitive sites. To guarantee the above, AUI maintains in-house crews with licensed professional surveyors and a full range of top of the line equipment and employs Project Managers whose credentials include, but are not limited to, Project Management Professional Certification and qualified Professional Engineers.

We are particularly proud of AUI’s long list of successfully completed projects for owners such as SANDIA National Labs, Intel, and the Corps of Engineers that required conformance to stringent specifications and strict safety requirements. Our personal standards of performance have been elevated as a result of complying with the high standards employed by these owners.
