I just wanted to take a minute to commend the Aurora/Centennial Police officers. With all the negative news we are privy to,  I just wanted to commend all of the officers on their conduct, professionalism, and overall communication, throughout each of the incidents. 

I am a disabled, 47 year old, African American female. I recently moved to a prominent 80016 area, and I have had four different incidents with officers. The first three incidents were all traffic related, although I take full responsibility for my actions, all three could have been avoided if I had obeyed the rules of the road.  Even though I was one of several people in each of those incidents, I was the first or last offender n each case, so easiest to stop without impeding traffic further, basically the easiest to apprehend.  Each officer approached my vehicle, introduced themselves, explained the nature of the traffic stop, and treated me with the utmost respect.  Even when I showed signs of frustration, and started to feel I was being targeted because of my race maybe, and being stopped four times within a month, the officer who was at the receiving end still kept his same calm demeanor.

In the fourth incident, although the story seemed to be a reach, and we later determined it was just my brother's estranged wife with further fabrications, to get him in trouble to stop him from having access to her $4 million inheritance; the officers were both kind, decent, and kept their calm, almost gentle spirits. 

Just wanted to not only commend your units, but thank each and everyone for their service, and, sacrifices. God Bless You All.  Be Safe.
