At the May 27th Fossil Festival, driving into Aurora, I accidently backed my car into a ditch while trying to turn around. Immediately, several EMT's and firemen were on the scene to help me. One very nice gentleman helped me out of my car, then hailed a ride for me into town to watch the parade, and assured me they would tend to correcting the situation. I was told where I could pick up my car and keys after the parade, which I did, and went on my merry way to a 1953 Class Reunion down at the Old Hole with the Hookers.. Having grown up in Aurora in the best of times, it is so special to see that the young people are just as kind, caring, and wonderful as their parents. A huge THANK YOU goes to the Volunteers of the Aurora Rescue Squad and Fire Dept..
