Dr. Wages and Dr. Frank were great, but the office staff is so difficult and incompetent that I ultimately decided to change places! I gave them 4 chances and twice my apt. was "lost", so when I showed up they didn't have me down, once it was cancelled 20 min before my scheduled time, and once the office staff argued with me that Dr. Wages had NEVER been at th William Cannon location even though that's where I saw him and the only place I had been! Then.....when I tried to get my medical records they said I had never signed the release (in the 30+ pages I had filled out, really??) So I had them email it but their server is not set up for digital signature so I had to go to the office anyway! Uggg! Get it together people!

They don't care about their patients at all! They are forceful about those stupid injections that don't work but when a PA named Emily told me my problem was my weight and I needed to loose weight, I about lost my mind! I have degenerative disc disease! I could weigh 125 and still have problems! Never ever again!

Saw Dr Frank, after basically being told my back problems were because I was too fat and unhealthy... his attitude was very uncaring to a person's psychological health... now I can add depression and weight struggle back to my list of worries... you'd think after losing 240 lbs people would stop... but no he said I needed more that wasnt good enough... well thanks for sending me back 10 years...

Never again. My meeting with the doctor at Austin Pain Associates was brief - in and out in a couple of minutes. The instructions I received on how to prepare for my procedure were wrong and incomplete, causing me to have to have the procedure without sedation (which was super awesome...). As soon as the injections were done I was wheeled into a room and told to get dressed as 2 minutes later I was walked out a side door and into the parking lot, where I had to walk back to the waiting room to find my wife. It made me feel super cared for... And now for the best part... Never once in the course of preparing for the injections did anyone ever mention that my pain levels might get worse. No once. They DID say things like "It can take a few days to get full results, but some people experience immediate relief." My pain levels were a 6 when I got there and a 10 when I left. We started calling them the following day when the pain had not subsided and their voicemail system makes it impossible to actually TALK to anyone. It shuffles you through an endless voicemail tree and eventually you get to leave a message. No one called me back for 5 days, and when they did they were rude and dismissive. It was my first go-round with spinal injections all I wanted to know was if my pain was normal and to be expected of if there was something to worry about. They couldn't be bothered to talk to me about it. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to go. Someplace where they actually care about the patients.

A downgrade from my previous pain management doctor. Coming here was a mistake. I've had two back surgeries and I live in pain and have expressed that to them. They still would let me go a week or more in between my prescription refills with no medication when I'm supposed to take 3 doses a day.
