I had unusual damage to my rear differential due to a collision, and needed a repair before the body shop would get involved.  It was too big a job for two other shops.  Fred at authorized transmissions did not hesitate and gave me great service for a complicated job.

They were great may car was ready in no time. It was worth my money, they guarantee good service and they make sure that your is fixed and ready to be on the road again. The owner was very pleasant and professional. I will continue to use their service in the future and I will recommend authorized transmission to anybody. Keep up the good work guys!

When my car's transmission broke down, I called around to a few transmission shops in the area.  Fred at Authorized Transmissions was the only one who clearly spelled out what his shop would do, how much labor he would charge, and also gave an estimate on parts; the choice was clear.

I had the car dropped off on a weekend and heard back from Fred on Monday that in fact I didn't need any transmission work, only a shift cable that had snapped off.  I also opted to replace the original clutch (136k miles) and I couldn't be happier with the work.  Done when promised, for the price quoted, and it runs like a dream.  

You don't get honesty, integrity, and value much these days with many repair shops.  But Fred and his team at Authorized Transmissions stand head and shoulders among the rest.

I was traveling from Western Maryland through the area to visit family when my car suddenly broke down. I was able to get my vehicle towed to the nearest repair shop which happened to be Authorized Transmissions. Not being from the area I was a little nervous, But to my surprise Tony and his staff were extremely helpful and eased all of my concerns. They were very efficient and worked fast to get me back on the road and on my way at an affordable cost!
