Wonderful wonderful wonderful!!! If you have never been it should happen once in your life. Then it will happen again and again. 
Food is reasonable beer is weak, but priced accordingly.  Bring your ear plugs if you can't handle loud noise. But hey it's part of the great time noise of h.p smell of fuel and rubber, the best time ever. Parking was easy even though handicap was full... They have taxis to get disabled people to the evelator available for the lazy too...

The sister track to Michigan at 2 miles Auto Club Speedway is one of the biggest tracks on the NASCAR circuit although we only visit once a year. I found the security team and the volunteers to be absolutely wonderful gracious informative and helpful.

On the downside to getting in and out of the track is atrocious particularly into the track the gates and checkpoints are far too close to the major roads and one ends up sitting endlessly at traffic lights and in traffic jams trying to get in this is something that they have to look at hard.

All-in-all, however I would still recommend it based more than anything on the people that are there the staff with a paid or volunteer make the whole thing worthwhile and the racing is great.

AAA, train, pit pass, tickets by pit entrance. Good food but pricey drinks. Great music. Exceptional awesome time in parking lot before race. Lots of great people to talk and party with.

I attend at least five races a year at four different venues. Auto CLUB Speedway always puts on a great show. More than just a race It's an event. Good family fun, great food and lots of vendors from which to choose. The speeds are insane. If you're thinking about going to Auto Club Speedway stop thinking about it and just go go go!!🏁

I love going to the track with my friends. They have all different kinds of things going on all year. I just recently went for NASCAR and what a great race! The track is huge, about 2 miles around. That also means that getting to your seat from the opposite side of the track is a very long walk. Also depending where you are sitting, the seats are only benches, not individual seats like most stadiums. They do have backs on them at least. Fortunately, you will have the sun at your back for almost all races. You should still make sure to bring plenty of sunscreen as you still may be burned. A set of binoculars is also useful since the opposite side of the track is hard to see.
