Quote expensive on a sliding scale that punishes you for using their facilities, and rewards you for parking there all day. Parked about 4 hours and it was $18.50. Perhaps this is the going rate for downtown Philadelphia, but seems a bit steep to me. Admittedly, you get a well lit, historically centrally located, safe, and underground parking. Cannot beat the location, which is why I can only assume it costs as much as it does. Make the best of your parking few and park there, then spend all day (6 to 8 hours) in downtown Philly.

Prices are ok but their organization is a little crazy. It took 15 mins to park, and then another 15 to leave due to moving cars around. Kinda frustrating.

Good parking in the centre of the city, not so cheap and not always has free space - but very convenient.

Great location if you need to be in the historic sites area. You can buy a one way ticket for a tour company bus and they greatly reduce your parking rate.

Operated by the infamous and notoriously nasty Philadelphia Parking Authority, the Autopark at Independence Hall Visitors Center is convenient to the Independence Mall. WARNING - PRICING SCAM: The signs on the street at the entrance advertise $9 per day parking rates, you will be charged the REGULAR HOURLY RATES at check out. Our 7 hour visit to the mall, lunch and surrounding attractions cost us $18.50. VERY SMALL print on the sign provides ridiculous limitations on obtaining that rate. Something really stupid like: valid for purple cars, with one burned out headlight, every 3rd full moon, for Hawaiian license plates that end in an odd digit ! : )~ If they are going to advertise - it needs to be something that will apply to a MAJORITY of the visitors and travelers. Not something that applies to the minority of visitors. Be WARNED. Also - they do not provide any security, video cameras, etc. Car burglars are famous in this garage, so NO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING in view that is of value or identifies your car as a tourist.
