Story

A collection of my work from hairstyles to makeup looks. I was trained at the Paul Mitchell school in Orlando fl in 2012. I have always been a creative soul and channeling that into my work keeps me passionate about my career. I work at a wonderful salon in Venice, Fl called Avenue Hair Design. I had some great haircuts at this salon - but I really cannot afford their prices any longer.  Highly recommend - if you have the money.

I came here as a gift from my boyfriend for Christmas and my stylist Kelly did an amazing job on my Devacut. She taught me things I never knew about my hair and helped me with new styling techniques. She really took her time with me and I would highly recommend her and the salon!

This place is the best! I went to Avenue to have my hair done for my wedding. It was such a wonderful and stress-free morning getting pampered. Heather and Tiffany worked together to do the hair and makeup of my bridal party and everyone looked perfect and was so happy with their end results. I would highly recommend this studio to anyone looking for wedding hair...or to just get their hair cut, colored, or styled. Heather, the wedding coordinator, is so friendly and skilled...she instantly made me feel confident that the day-of would go smoothly and that the end product would be exactly what I want. She is also great with curls! She took the explanation of what I envisioned for my hair, what my wedding theme was, and all the tid-bits she gathered through conversation about my likes and dislikes to create a bridal hairdo that was more than I even imagined. I felt confident as she worked with my natural curls and the hairdo stayed perfectly in place all day and all night. Tiffany was very friendly and did a great job listening to the bridesmaids to make their own unique styles. It is professional, elegant, comfortable, and the entire staff is friendly! I've been going to Kelly Thayer for over 20 years and have never had a bad cut! She is professional, up to date on styles, and fun to be with, to boot!

The staff is so knowledgeable and up to date with all the current trends! Heather always listens and knows exactly what to suggest when I want to try different things with my hair!
