We loved our 2nd stay at the Avenue Inn Bed and Breakfast. Joe and Bebe have a beautiful place with the perfect blend of Southern historic charm and up to date amenities! The parking is included but we often chose to leave our car and use the streetcar which you can catch right out front. It is also walking distance to many wonderful restaurants and running distance to the Audubon Park. We enjoyed everything from having coffee and a continental breakfast on the beautiful Creole-style veranda out front to escaping the heat and relaxing in our spacious high ceilinged room with sitting area and television. Joe and Bebe are a wealth of information and went out of their way to make sure that our stay was comfortable, peaceful and fun! We will definitely stay at the Avenue Inn again!

Lovely inn with a very helpful, accommodating couple managing the experience. Our room was beautiful, with a king-sized bed and old-fashioned furniture. One nod to modernity was a flat-screen television with a very large number of channels. This B&B is not for partiers unless you can keep the noise level low after 10. Also, the breakfast is Continental as your hosts expect that you are in New Orleans to eat at the city's great restaurants. Finally, everything is included in your price, so such items as water and small candies and Pop Tarts are available at no extra charge. Although this was our first stay at Avenue B&B, I can see why people return year after year.

Avenue inn Bed and Breakfast is absolutely wonderful and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is visiting New Orleans and in particular to parents visising a Tulane student. We visited our daughter/sister at Tulane University and she was welcome to stay with us at the inn. The inn Is located just a few tram stops away from Tulane and the tram stops literally right in front of the gate. Extremely convenient! Lovley porch and garden to have your breakfast or relax in between. Really nice hosts who welcomed us personally and took good care of us during our stay. We had a beautiful room with very comfertable beds. Clean! Absolutely lovley breakfast! Waterbottles and snack and fruit is available at all times- a huge plus! We have stayed at hotels in NOLA before, it does not come close unless you need the marble bath and standard boring hotel room. At Avenue inn you experience living in one of those beatiful grand wooden houses with hosts who personally ensure that your stay will be a pleasant one. We will definitely return to Avenue inn whenever we visit New Orleans to see my daughter at Tulane university. Cant imagine a better place to stay. Thank you !!

We enjoyed the Inn, it was charming and had everything we needed. The breakfast was so yummy with yogurt, coffee, juice and pastries as well as bagels and muffins. Great parking and no need for our car as the St Charles street car picked us up right in front. Joe was a great host. We happened to be there on a couple of very cold nights so we spent a good deal of time in our room which was very spacious. Because of the cold and rain we ate right next door at New Orleans hamburgers and seafood which was really good. Oh and I have to mention we were greeted with a warm chocolate chip cookie.
