Meet Our Attorneys:

Attorney Charles Averbeck focuses his practice on representing accident victims and their families. Having practiced personal injury law for over 30 years, Attorney Averbeck is experienced in the courtroom, but also skilled in bringing cases to a conclusion through negotiated settlement, avoiding the necessity of a trial.

Attorney Averbeck, born in 1950, received a law degree from Marquette Law School in 1978 and then began private practice in Fond du Lac. Attorney Averbeck has been recognized as a Wisconsin Super Lawyer by Milwaukee Magazine 2006-20014. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Association for Justice, past President of the Fond du Lac County Bar Association and has been active in local government, civic and charitable organizations.

Attorney Ronald Hammer, born in 1953, received his law degree from University of Wisconsin, Madison in 1978. He served as a Law Clerk for the Wisconsin Court of Appeals in Waukesha from 1978-1979 and then returned to Fond du Lac to begin his private practice. He has been active in the Fond du Lac County and Bar Associations. He served as a member of the Office of Lawyer Regulation, District 3 Investigative Committee. Has served as past President of the Fond du Lac County Bar. He has served as an instructor at MPTC on negotiable instruments and estate planning and is involve din a number of local civic and charitable organizations.

Attorney Jessica E. Slavin, received her law degree from University of Minnesota Law School and was admitted to the Wisconsin State Bar in 1999. Attorney Slavin worked at Foley & Lardner as an associate attorney from 2000-2002. She was legal writing professor at Marquette University Law School from 2002-2012 and a Judicial Clert at the Wisconsin Court of Appeals from 2012-2014 prior to starting her private practice in Fond du Lac. Attorney Slavin's areas of practice include Personal Injury, Estate Planning, Trusts, Foreclosures and Real Estate.
