I don't know how the rest of these Avid clients were able to receive such good service from Avid, or how they were able to even fathom giving Avid such great reviews....unless Anton (the owner of Avid) wrote the reviews himself, and I'll tell you why: Avid, I have experienced myself, is horrendous when it comes to service and that is not to mention how bad they are when it comes to doing work. Anton does not care about his clients and has no consideration either when it comes to clients homes, businesses, or personal property. For example, they come in to do work, and if they have to do work which will evidently create dust and etc., they do not take the time or expend the effort to purchase some plastic covering to cover those personal belongings that are close to or surrounding the area to be worked on. Hence, all your furniture, etc., becomes covered with dust and debris. That being said, the sad part is that when such is brought to Anton's attention before hand, you advise Anton - or his men - to use coverings to prevent a mess, he promises that he will or will have his men do so, but such never realizes and when you turn your head, you are faced with having to hire a cleaning company to clean up the mess that Avid leaves behind. That is only one example. Here is another and one final one. I bought some really expensive shower doors that were imported from Spain and called Avid to do an installation of them that I could have done better than they did but didn't have the time to do. Well, Avid did install the doors all right. However, by the time the doors were installed they were #1 totally damaged (the chrome was all scratched in numerous places), and #2 - not functioning as they were designed to do; that is not to mention that Anton's employee scratched my tub in several places in his futile attempt to install the doors. Long story short, and at the end of a shower door installation nightmare which I had no idea I would have been confronted with, Anton, when I complained to him about the installation gone bad, refused to make good in some form or fashion, to see to it that the damage to my bathtub or shower doors be corrected in some way. In fact, he proceeded to, and was more concerned with, trying to charge me for the installation, which I thought was insane. Hence, would I consider, let alone call, Anton (Avid) to serve as Handyman for any project I may have in the future.....certainly not. If you decide to do so, just be careful, because you are taking a chance and you can never expect what type service you may receive. Good luck!

Avid has helped me out immensely over the past few yrs. They've been an invaluable asset - my one stop shop for dozens of home improvement projects both big & small. Working with them has been really convenient, I don't have to search for a different contractor every time an issue around the house comes up. There hasn't been anything they couldn't fix, install or build. One of my favorite projects they did is new flooring installed and a restored hardwood staircase. The Pergo flooring & hard wood stairway have had a lot of wear & tear but have held up really well - they still look as good as when they were first installed/done. This is just one example of a bigger, planned project, but they've also gotten me out of dozens of smaller 'jams'. Most recently, my bathroom fan/light stopped working. They responded right away and fixed it quickly & without hassle. It's a huge help/relief having a reliable 'go to place' for just about anything I need help with.

Anton and his team are fantastic. I initially found Avid Handyman when looking for someone to hang my television. They did a great job and we liked dealing with them so much we asked if they would be interested in replacing our fence. Anton worked with us on every step of the project, he was visible and is always available for questions and advice via email, text, and phone call. We decided on a horizontal cedar fence and it is gorgeous. Beyond that his workers showed up on time, they worked hard all day, and were respectful of our home. We can not wait to work with Anton again on the next phases of our yard project as well as other things we lined up for the interior. A+

Avid Handyman did a terrific job on a complete remodel of my main bathroom. They put in granite flooring, built a custom granite countertop/vanity, put up granite shower walls, installed a glass shower door, placed beautiful new lighting all throughout, and even helped me with some decorating ideas (wall art, towel holder, etc.). I am thoroughly pleased with how the project was carried out from start to finish. They're a small company with a huge emphasis on customer satisfaction. They have a hardworking and dedicated team who are easy to deal with. I will certainly be using them again for future remodel projects.

Avid worked on my commercial project which included 18 foot high brick walls and did a phenomenal job! The crew: Kenny, Erik and Balint were very respectful to everyone around and did great work despite the adverse weather. This was the 3 rd project with Avid and plan on working with them again in the future.
