Absolute worst, the most expensive I have ever rented...from Boston Mass. My 4 day tally for a Nisan Versa (cheapest of the cheap) was close to $500...I was also 1 hour late to return the car, and got charged $41, when the daily rate is $54's...will never use again.

This is my second time renting from AVIS and I'm extremely satisfied.  The customer service staff is friendly and helpful.  The cars are great and have gotten what I've requested.  I made the mistake of renting from another company (this second time around) and was so dissatisfied that I never left their parking lot and returned the car immediately. I called AVIS nationwide representatives from my car and within 20 minutes the agent was able to book a car at the Simi Valley, CA location (near where I was) and was impressed by the service and how they were able to help me.  I recommend your car rental to everyone!

  Car rental experience was pretty good. Car was clean & sleek. Good on gas. Had good power to get up hills with a load. Rental station was impressive : easy to get in & out.
  The only thing that could use a tune-up was the rental price. The online reservation price was a few dollars less than the actual price charged, though the car was dropped off on time.

Doesn't get any easier than this place.  Reserve on line (save a few bucks that way too)
Show up when its time to get it.  in and out in 5 minutes (no one has ever been in front of me in line) Cars always in GREAT shape & clean,
Dropping off is even quicker.  
Used em many times.  They're always going to be my first choice when renting in Simi.
