I recently had an unsatisfactory experience with A.W.E. After over 10 years of purchasing their AC/Heat maintenance plan, and recently having a new furnace installed I was in need of a plumber. I saved my hard earned money to upgrade my kitchen, including a new kitchen sink faucet. Justin was the plumber who came to my home. Once the installation was complete Justin called let me know I had purchased a "bad" faucet (I felt embarrassed and was surprised to hear since it was not cheap). He was not able to connect the water hose properly and it continually blew off. He ended up taping it. He said my two options were to buy a new faucet and invite them back to install...which comes with a second installation expense. Or, I can glue it and tape it myself. I consulted with the retailer thinking they are responsible for selling me a "bad" faucet. The needed clip was still in the box, right next to the unopened installation guide. Fortunately I was able to hire another plumber to fix the faucet. I called A.W.E. to communicate what happened and sent photos of the correctly installed clip. Tom asked why I didn't call them...I am sorry, but at this point I did not trust their plumbing ability. I did not ask for one cent. I simply said I was unsatisfied. However, I felt as though they would stand behind their work and claim to "satisfaction guaranteed". Tom reviewed the paperwork, talked with Justin, and spoke to another Manager and advised me that there was nothing they can do for me...for a few reason: 1) There was an implication that if I had purchased the faucet from somewhere other than the retailer I did, the faucet would have been installed correctly. 2) I am not part of their MVP program otherwise a charge would have been waived...even after being a very long time client and having just purchased a new furnace from them in November. 3) They did not charge me enough for the actual repair. They felt as though the charges were adequate. I told Tom he made a very costly decision. I will no longer purchase their maintenance contract or services and I will not recommend them to family and friends. I have already told my frustrating story...as people tend to do after a negative experience...and now I am writing this review. I small gesture, such as a $50 credit, or something, would have been greatly appreciated and I would continue doing business with them and recommend with a smile. I work in the retail/service repair industry and I am involved with situations exactly the same as this one. I respond to clients online and I am very familiar with what it takes to genuinely provide "satisfaction guaranteed" customer service. Unfortunately they missed it with me...how many other clients are you willing to let go?

I had an extremely bad experience with AWE. 1st when they installed a new blower motor in my furnace the tech wired it wrong and told me that there was a bigger problem and I needed a new furnace. Which was not the case. They were supposed to come out on a Tuesday to try again to fix it for $500. I took the day off of work to be home and they called to say the tech called in sick and they had no one else to come out. I called Beery Heating and they came out the same day and determined in 5 minutes that the blower motor was wired wrong. Either AWE was incompetent or fraudulent and were trying to sell me a new furnace. Either way not a company that I would do business with ever again.

Great company, great service! I use them for my furnace, air conditioner and plumbing needs. Always on time and they call when the technician is on his way to my house.
