I stopped today for the last time.  I put up with the cigarette smoke smell and people smoking.  They don't have a non smoking section.  The whole place stinks like cigarette smoke, and it's overwhelming.  I came back several times for the food.  Well today different people were working.  Two guys I've never seen.  While I was figuring out what I wanted to get to go.  The younger​ employee pull a pork steak out of the pan. With one dirty hand on the pork steak, and the other hand using tongs to pull the pork steak apart.  He tossed the rest of the pork steak back into the pan on the buffet.  Then used the tongs to put the other piece in his mouth, then put the tongs back into the pan of meat. Right then and there, I said that's nasty and wrong.  The employee's response was " my mouth never touched the tongs".  I said it didn't matter, you contaminated the meat.  You just don't do things like that in a work place.  I walked out the door.  Then walked back in.  The manager was behind the cash counter.  I said what he employee did.  The employee was at the time washing the tongs, to put right back into the contaminated meat.  At the point I was told to leave by the other guy.  I figure if the employee's are doing that while working, what's to stop them from eating a spoonful of potato salad and putting the spoon back into the bowl.

Pork Steak Heaven on paper plate.

The buffet is $7.99 and has many choices. Smoked chicken, ribs, pulled pork and slabs of pork steak.

The pork steaks were very tender and smokey. The hash brown casserole was really good. I really enjoyed those two items the most. The other meats were dried out a little.

There are several side items to choose from along with salad and cold pasta noodles, but I didn't care to try any of those.

The buffet is in a truck stop convenience store. It's small, but has plenty of tables and the ladies were very nice and helpful.

Parking lot is a little rough in the rear area, lot nicer if you get a chance to park closer up front.

A very nice place, but ruined my the state smoking policy.  Old tobacco residue sticks to everything including the food.  Smokers love sitting right next to you even with many other places open.  Act like it's their right to force you to partake of their fatal addiction

i would have had a better time food was great service the night i was there questionable two of the workers was talking an i heard them saying something about meth Ashley an i guess her mom from the way they talked they was waiting are had just got some delivered to there work an in watching they went in a bathroom together an i waited desided to go wash my hands an saw them snorting a white powder off the bathroom counter i turned a walked out of the place i dont even think i paid for my things it really upset me an i had being there before an saw the same two totting boxes of stuff out to there car an a white truck i plan to go back to bjs but if they are working i will not stop

Really great service and food. Would be 5 stars if they had a hottie working.
