The food was solid. I think the portions were good for the price. I really did enjoy the spicy hummus. My only complaint is that I had an awful stomach ache for about 24 hours after eating here. Not sure if the food just wasn’t kept hot enough or what, but my body was mad at me. Overall, I would probably come back again in the future. I probably wouldn’t come in at 11am on the nose though when they first open for the day.
The lady who helped me at the counter was beyond helpful. She had said they were short staffed, but it did not seem as though. You could definitely tell the two knew what they were doing and both were working. My plate was exceptionally tasteful. The food here is ALWAYS fresh. I ordered a falafel, she made it and fried it while I finished my order. It came out piping hot as I was paying for the food. My meal was about $13 which I would have paid more for. Definitely enough food for 2 smaller meals. All-in-all, amazing establishment, great food, great price
The food was excellent. The staff not so much. Both of the staff working today were extremely impatient and rude. My friend is hard of hearing and his server kept getting angry when he was asked to speak up. I am not hard of hearing though my server was just as rude. Any question I asked was met with a snarky rude response. I wish the staff were not so rude because I really enjoyed the food. The place was very neat and clean. My first time there will be my last time...not because of the food though. What a shame because that was the best chicken shawarma I have had in Oklahoma.
I love Mediterranean food and this was the worst I’ve ever had $12.49 for a “pita bread” sandwich at lunch. The chic peas were hard, the meat was hard and the pita bread was cold. Never again! I know the price of food has gone up but the quality is horrible. Maybe it was old food from the day before. I’ve never had crispy gyro meat before.
I have had Mediterranean food multiple times in multiple states and they all had flavor. Today I had chicken shawarma and it had no taste what so ever. It was very bland. And no pita with shawarma!! That is a travesty!! And the lady who was preparing the food had such an attitude that every question we asked was met with rude replies. Disappointed.
Mr. Baba G please read this. It pains me as a loyal repeat customer of your restaurant to see how low the quality and freshness has fallen. No more vibrant colors. No more lamb and chicken on the spit sizzling. No more fresh delicious food. The general appearance of the restaurant is as unappetizing as the food has become. We were so sad the edmond location closed but saw the same decline in quality there. Mr. Baba G, we hope you are able to fix this location so it doesn't disappear like the edmond location.
Super super yummy Mediterranean food!! Massive portions and tender meat. Amazing flavors. I’m usually not a fan of babaganoush, but I am obsessed with theirs. I like it over the hummus! Getting a platter will last be three meals easily. Their stuffed pitas are really good too.
Best gyro meat I’ve had in a long time. I preferred the gyro platter which came with enough food to feed two people. Really great portions. Platter came with lots of gyro meat, yellow rice, lettuce, chick peas, one huge pita, and original & spicy hummus. You have to check this place out!
Pros: Greek salad, generous portions I dined at dinnertime since the diner was not too busy. I ordered a Greek salad with chicken shawarma $9.49 and stuffed grape leave $3.50. The diner, while small, was clean with easy access to soap. The salad was very satisfying served with a pita and plenty of veggies. The chicken shawarma was tasty. I will be back to try the steak, falafel and tabouli! Great option for takeout!
I recently found Baba G’s and I love this place! I'm vegan, gluten free and do not eat fried food. I found plenty of delicious food. Instead of following their menu, they let me pick what I wanted. See my pic. I have now gone there 3 times in 2 weeks!
