Always an issue here .... do you take reservations or not ? This seems to be a changing policy. We were told no then showed up for our anniversary and they turned us away ( at 6pm with many empty yet reserved tables) food and atmosphere might be good but gotta take care of people. :(

The Bacari Grill is always packed for dinner, and the menu prices can be steep. But leave it to a local to give you the inside scoop on how to hang at Bacari without breaking the bank. Head to the bar (first come, first serve) for a glass of wine and if you are lucky enough to grab a seat, order an appetizer. The apps aren't overwhelmingly pricey, and certainly fit the bill in terms of quality. Get a shareable pizza and the mussels and people watch. Just don't be too offended by others standing around stalking for your seats. This is a great place to come for a quick drink if you aren't in the mood for a full, expensive dinner. Unless you are in the mood for that - in that case, enjoy, and make a reservation!
