My son and I ate at Bacio today and let me say we had a wonderful experience. We sat on the cute patio and it was so peaceful and quiet, you wouldn’t know you were in the middle of DC. The server was friendly and attentive. I liked the alcohol selection, and had wine. We enjoyed mozzarella sticks which we could tell were made in house and not just reheated from frozen like in most other places. The pizza my son got was fresh and delicious. I enjoyed my arugula salad with shrimp. I wish they were a little more cooked but that is a personal preference. The desserts very very good too, we really liked the limoncello raspberry cake. We really highly recommend this place and we can’t wait to go back!
Kind of tasted like school cafeteria pizza. Which is a good thing. It was nostalgic. And it was super super fresh, like hot. The dough you can tell was fresh. Had some cornmeal or something on the bottom. And the cheese was quality. They put extra cheese and though it says they don't charge for it, the price comes out $16 instead of the $15 on the menu pre-tax I was ok paying it as they seen transparent about where the money goes. The place itself is quite nice with ample seating and a mime-like design of black and white. It's cozy though so you'll be in close quarters of the next table. There is indoor, outdoor seating and a happy hour. Dietary restrictions: They offer vegan cheese
Ordered take out, but the location is cute and the outdoor seating looks nice. Good pizza overall.Food: 4/5

We went for lunch on July 4th, and overall, we had a good time. We were seated at the patio, and it was a hot and humid day, so it was a wrong decision. The sun was down on my face, so I wasn't able to enjoy my food as much as I was sweating a lot. The pizza was good but we have tried better ones. The garlic shrimp was okay, too. Overall, it's still a good place to dine in, but I would recommend sitting inside during hot days.
We were really excited to get back to Bacio after enjoying it about a year ago with some neighbors. We ordered ahead and arrived right about when the system said our pizzas would be ready. The estimate was quite a ways off, and we ended up having to wait another 15 minutes in a cramped space with other grumpy patrons. While we waited, we saw several dine-in guests have to come in to try to get service because they hadn't actually seen their server in a while. The restaurant only had a few tables of guests at the time. We finally got our pizzas and made our way home. By the time we got home, the cheese had already started congealing. The taste was pretty disappointing across all the pizzas, and the initial excitement we had devolved into regrets about not going elsewhere for dinner. When deciding whether to order the garlic bread, I joked that it had to be better than what we could buy in the freezer section of the grocery store, but I was proven wrong. Oddly enough, everything tasted better the following days when we microwaved slices to reheat them. I don't think we'll be back.
The pizza is fresh, tasty and affordable. I also like the atmosphere and especially outside during great weather!Food: 5/5
Short walk from our Airbnb, perfect outdoor pizza experience! Relaxing, family friendly but not chaotic, great music. Food and drinks were amazing. We sat outside. Kid-friendliness: Outdoors there is a small playset for little kids, probably ages up to 5.
what a great atmosphere! Employees are super friendly and kind. Their pizzas are light and very tasty . I was amazed with their bar, Ozi made us delicious cocktails. I would definitely visit them again. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars.
