When I moved to Tahlequah in August 2016 I felt very out of place and thought I would never find a job... I accidentally stumbled onto Backwoods Foods which quickly became my 2nd family. So far this has been the best working experience I've had in my entire life. The owners of this company take pride in how they treat their employees and I cherish that. I never wake up and think to myself "do I really have to go to work today". I would also like to mention that, here at Backwoods we take pride in producing safe and very tasty products for our customers everyday. So as an end note I would like to say THANK YOU to my Backwoods family for making this a very awesome and comfortable experience for me!

Backwoods Foods is the best little hidden treasure in Tahlequah! If you've never been in, you don't know what your missing. The employees are very helpful and friendly and they have the best BBQ sauce and salsa in town! I will forever be a loyal Backwoods customer.

This is a great company to both work with and work for. I've worked here for more than 5 wonderful years and just love the people, not to mention the company has such a great backstory. Couldn't ask for any better!

This place is a joke.. Whats funny is THE people that say they love the jobs... Lol i know how you talk about them when your out of the office....

I bought some salsa on a fund raiser. 2 jars of habanero hot. While the flavor was average, I was expecting something spicy. It had ZERO heat. on a scale of one to ten on the heat, this was a big fat ZERO!!! If your looking for something hot, this isnt it.
