Story

Thai cooking is uniquely different from other Asian cuisines. It is influenced by both Chinese and Indian cuisines, but is set apart by local herbs and spices, creating many dishes truly unique to Thailand.

Rice is the heart of the meal in Thailand. It is the basis of our diet. At the dinner table, there may be as many as 20 dishes, but always a big, hot plate of rice. And here at Bai Tong, we pride ourselves on saying “We do not use MSG.”

The Sunti family has been serving authentic, traditional Thai cuisine in America for over 30 years. Starting with Bahn Thai in Seattle since 1982, and expanding to now three new additional restaurants, we will continue to do our best to bring you exceptional Thai food and service. Is it a qualifier if I tell you I am a professional chef? Whatever you think you know about Thai food, forget about it. Get over here and pick anything off the menu. ANYTHING. I had the Spicy Basil. Oh my gosh. I tossed my fork down and decided that I'm never cooking again. Sublime. Delicious. Perfect. Dave room for the CRISPY ICE CREAM. Just do it. Thank me later

Has become my new favorite Thai place! Can't say enough positive things from the friendly staff, Incredibly good food and reasonable prices! 
 My wife is Gluten-Free, and they have many sauces that are GF.
 I will have to control myself to only eat out here twice a month (I try to eat at home).

Unique old house converted to a restaurant.  Service was great, food was very good.  Interesting decorations too.

We've been here a couple of times and the food been great.  We keep to a Vegetarian diet and if you ask for it they will bring a laminated card which lists the Vegan options on one side and Gluten Free Options on the other side.  We had Vegetarian Bai Tong Noodle with Tofu, Gingery with Tofu, Fresh Rolls, Tom Kah Soup with Tofu, Brown Rice, and Coconut Rice.  I also had a "Ginger Sizzling" Mai Tai.   Service was slow this night and they were apologetic.  The food was good enough that we didn't mind the delay, but if they are busy I would not come here if you are in a hurry.  This is a great place to relax and truly enjoy a  wonderful meal at a leisurely pace.  It is a place I like to go with friends.

I love the food choices and the quality. They are always quick and the food is well priced. If you haven't been here you should try it, the coconut rice is amazing and the green curry is the best in town.
