Great place to start the day and watch some stunning sunrises. Not too many amenities in the terminal, but usually dont have to wait long for a ferry.. grab the wsdot app for schedules and map of where ferries currently are (vessel watch)

Well managed. I hit the ferry right after the Seahawks game. Lots of people but moved smoothly.

If you haven't ever been on a ferry, the experience going to Seattle is generally lovely. The services on board depend on season and the time of day. Always check WSDot for delays and info. May to July of this year (2017) had ferries that had issues of varying degrees. Summer-do not wait until last minute, plan on arriving at least 20 minutes ahead of time.

Lovely excursion away from the hustle and bustle of the city. A good option for tourists to spend a half day and experience a different side of Seattle.
