This funeral home is run with the utmost professionalism, warmth and compassion. Casey is one of the best people I have ever met. He truly treats strangers like friends and friends like family. He is a pillar of the community here in Berea. I grew up in the funeral business and I am familiar with what it takes - It is not for the faint of heart. Casey and his staff are amazing! Some reviews below have been placed by people who scammed this business out of money! Absolutely DEPLORABLE! They should be ashamed of themselves!

Baker Funeral Home handled the funerals for both of my parents, 2006 and just recently in 2017. Every aspect of their funerals, including newspaper announcements, transportation and embalming, casket choices, service arrangements, flowers, selection of the appropriate minister and venue for the services, funeral plot, caravan and tombstone, were handled efficiently, professionally, and as cost effectively as possible. Casey Kensinger just took care of it - and what a comfort that was! After taking care of my mother for the last 8 years, losing her was so difficult and it was nice to just be able to attend the service and grieve her loss, without having to worry about "the details." Thank you Casey and associates for all of your help in making the difficult losses of both of my parents that much easier.

this is to Brittany Dukov-since you decided to go to Google to lie about your experience at their funeral home-did u bother to see that they rate 4.7 stars? they didn't get this by accident!! they worked long and hard to get this. Casey is the most professional,honest,good hearted person that i have ever met-he had compassion for your situation-and tried hardest to help-even staying open longer than he ever had!! knew you had gotten (scanned) catholic charities-he went out of his way to help-then you show up in a brand new BMW!! WTF!! your decision to try and blacklist this funeral home will backfire on you! i will be reporting you to catholic charities. you think you deserve to have the world bow down to you-not gonna happen. just look at all the positive posts-and one bad one-yours. you owe them an APOLOGY and RETRACTION.

These people took advantage of my family while we were already dealing with a tragic situation. Casey seemed fine at first, but as soon as we signed, we received very cold and rude treatment. I asked to come in for a quote and he pushed my mom to immediately release my brother's body to them before we could talk to other funeral homes. They overcharged us by $800-1000 (compared to what other funeral homes quoted) and when I asked if they could give me an invoice for part of the bill and get paid in 30 days, Casey told me that we could have my brother when they got paid in full. And while it might be their policy that they must be paid in full before they allow the family to bury their loved one, there is a way to explain that to a grieving person with some tact and sensitivity. It felt like they were holding my brother's body for ransom. Don't pay for bad treatment; there are places you can go during this difficult time and not have people take advantage of your situation and make it harder for you.

A funeral home should be ran by compassionate people and that was not the case in my experience... I would never recommend them.. And this is unfortunate because the situation is already a terrible one and they added to that pain..
