My regular breakfast place in Ottawa.  It's as good as it gets.  There's is usually a lineup but it's well worth it and the owner will even bring cookies or little muffins while you wait.  Great service, big portions, delicious food, and a full pot of coffee right at your table.  What more could you ask for from breakfast... Nothing.  I answered it for you.

Great service and delicious coffee and breakfast. Tried “Something Different” which comes with a homemade sausage patty. Was definitely different but in a good way! Portion sizes are huge and the fruit is fresh. Couldn’t even finish it all. Would definitely recommend this place.

Just kinda average experience to me. Had very high expectations because of the numerous positive feedback about baker st.  and left a tad disappointed. Home fries were undercooked. My eggs benedict not cooked as instructed. One positive was the nice bowl of fresh fruit with each serving and decent staff. Overpriced though. Had much better breakfast dishes at less popular joints.

Very good food. Line out the door. Good service. Lots of specials. A little pricey, but with the line out the door and the area, not a big surprise.

Baker Street serves interesting breakfast fare and lots of it. The food is quite good and plentiful, the side fruit salad alone is almost a meal. This place gets jammed and it is very common to wait, sometimes 30 minutes+ for a table. They don't rush guests which means you'll find, even at the busiest times, bills aren't brought to the tables quickly. I think it's the vibe they want, and probably is one of the things that keeps people coming back. I don't love it, but then I'm a get in / get out kind of guy. So bottom line, if you're looking for a place with a slow vibe, good food and lots of it, and you aren't in a hurry... you may really enjoy Baker Street Cafe.
