Bakery Station is the go to spot in Salinas for a great sandwich. They have a solid menu and not much changes, but there's no reason to fix what isn't broken. My only complaint is that there are times when it takes a long time to get your food, even when it isn't busy.

Scones have no flavoring. Just tastes like biting into flour. I'm sure their fresh breads and sandwiches are good but they need to flavor up the scones a bit not just adding fruits and chocolate chips and calling it good.

Great service! Great value of food! I love the VW sandwich! It's vegetarian and soo yummy!

I wish their hours were longer, because this place is great for sandwiches and coffee. They use Vertigo coffee (San Jim Bautista independent roaster). If you like sandwiches and coffee, and also good cookies, it's worth a stop!
