I've been going to Baldy's approx. (4)four years now & I'll just say this... The food is always good, the service is outstanding. I always feel like I'm comfortable & among. Friends. We will be returning again,& again. Just had lunch there today w/My dearest loved ones & everything was GROOOVY!!! Thanks guys. Never close!!

Absolutely one of my favorite places to eat. The service is phenomenal and the food is amazing! The omelettes are my favorite! You want to go back in time a little bit this is the place to go. The setting is an old school feeling and the quality of the food is great!

The inviting Baldie's Cafe always puts this Salem-Silverton, Oregon resident in a great mood when I come here from 600 miles north for generous portions of great food at very reasonable prices. But I am afraid my great moods bring-out my bad jokes and the nice hard-working staff has to endure the brunt of those lame head-shakers. What a wonderfully decorated bright-and-clean classic American restaurant full of friendly people both working the new floor and enjoying delicious entrees in the red booths and at the counter. Baldie's Cafe truly sets the pace and is certainly a Chamber of Commerce kind of place. Union City should be very proud. I just cannot imagine how anybody in their right mind could rate Baldie's Cafe with any less than five stars. Baldie's Cafe should have trillions of stars. Today I must add I ordered a chef's salad yesterday afternoon. The huge-and-delicious salad I received made my eyes pop in delight and was an ample supply for feeding for a herd of happy cattle. The waitresses were so nice when I packed my leftovers and generously provided more dressing and bread. That memorable salad meant two more meals for this 6-foot, 2-inch 240 pound guy and I am so grateful. Jeff

Doesn't get any better than Baldie's. Any time we are out and about in Union City we have to stop here for pancakes and omelettes. The food is always spot on, and the staff treat you like family. We had the same server on our 2nd visit and he remembered us and our orders. There is often a wait for a table which is the only downside but also a good sign that you're at the right place for a great meal.

The food is always delicious, fresh and hot. The waiters are always nice, everyone in there are always polite.Me and my friends love to come here.Their chicken is delicious and not greasy. The bake potatoes are huge. I never finish my whole meal they give huge protions. I love this place.
