I’m not sure what’s happened over the last few months, or if this is just for pick up orders, but the pizza is as thin as a church wafer and dry. This is the third time in a row over the last few months that this has been the experience. I can’t justify coming back when the medium pizza is $27.50 after tax and the best part is the ranch I put on my plate.
The BIG MOSES did not disappoint. Ballard bridge, pepperoni and basil and bird were also delicious. Will come back again.Food: 5/5
This restaurant serves amazing pizza and provides very good customer service. The entire pizza was very flavorful to include the crust, and the cloves were enormous. Ballard Pizza Company is a great choice, if you are in the mood for pizza.Recommended dishesPepperoni Pizza
Was in the mood for pizza after Sunday’s Ballard farmer’s market. Found this place close by. It was a quite casual pizza place. They have an extensive menu and are quite vegetarian-friendly. We got the veggie bomb pizza, by default they are thin crust. The pizza was delicious and the staff here were great as well. I’d recommend this place.
Delicious pizza in a super fun space. The ambiance is very casual and a lot of fun. The service is attentive and always friendly....and did I say the pizza is really delicious?Food: 5/5
As someone who isn't the biggest fan of the trend toward "artisan" pizzas, with toppings like arugula and figs and honey, I will say, I really liked Ballard Pizza Company! Though it is totally possible that I only got the flavors that I liked lots of meat, but it was delicious. I would totally come back here and order only the meat pizzas. In fact, writing this at 11pm makes me wish they were open and I could grab a slice right now...
If you are looking for a restaurant that both delivers in customer service and creativity, Ballard Pizza Company is the place. Nestled on an amazing street full of food and life, this restaurant invites you in with its amazing atmosphere, steller music selection and, of course, out of this world food. The great thing about this place too, is it sells some of their pizza by the slice, so if you're super busy, or, if you just want to sample first... Go for the slices. They also have a great wine selection to, ya know, feel super fancy feeling extra fancy? Pop that pinky up while drinking... Trust me? all in all, it's a great restaurant... With great food and humongous portions. Trust me... I'm Samoan. I live for the portions. It's big even with by my standards.
$50 pizza with burned cornmeal all over the bottom yet the crust and pepperoni weren't fully cooked. Judging by all the bits stuck to the bottom of the crust, it's time to clean the oven. Should have asked for our money back, we threw most of this pizza in the garbage.Food: 2/5
High service fees at 18%, one slice now costs 7.80. And they're smaller, thinner slices with hard, inedible crusts. Used to be my go to spot, but now I'm gonna stay in, make my own za with 1.50 dough from tj's, or order dominoes. I mean, its a feckin pizza, it shouldn't cost so much. Ill miss it tho. Also, steer clear of their points system, its hard to sign up and the server doesn't know how to use it yet.
Very good service, solid atmosphere. That said I paid 18 bucks for wings after tip and they were not crispy at all which is not acceptable. Don’t understand why I’d pay that price just to need to crisp them up myself at home. My plan was to eat them after walking a block to a bar… and now they’re a snack for tomorrow. Next time I’ll buy frozen wings and cook them properly myself. Probably better off getting pizza here.
