Lake of the Woods is located at the northernmost point of Minnesota and is shared by Ontario and Manitoba, with more than 300,000 acres of Minnesota waters. The 70-mile-long Rainy River flows east to west from Rainy Lake to Lake of the Woods. Ballard's Resort is located where these two great waters meet.
