We stopped by this bar for a post-dinner treat, and we were pleasantly surprised by the cozy ambiance. Despite it being a Saturday night, the atmosphere was quiet and relaxed, perfect for winding down. While the dessert options were limited, we opted for the chocolate cake, which was decadent and satisfying. The drinks were well crafted, adding to the overall enjoyable experience.
$1 oysters were really good and paired perfectly with our drinks! Will come back to do the same I also recommend getting breakfast here. They're vegetarian omelet and poached eggs on smoked salmon were filling and delicious Food: 5/5
Kimpton hotel restaurant with great atmosphere and high quality food. Got a takeout of their dry aged burger and fried calamari. The presentation of the dry aged burger was unassuming, yet it was very good. Although the ingredients were very basic, the veggies were fresh and the dry aged meat patty was on point. Fried calamari was also nicely seasoned with pepper and jalapeños. The portions were definitely small for the price as expected from a hotel restaurant. Nevertheless, I still really enjoyed everything I ordered.

Good place for a large gathering. The food was decent. We ordered Butternut squash soup which was okayish. We also ordered fish tacos and burgers. The burgers were great. I am delighted to declare that Bambara has risen to such a state of culinary glory. The braised Wagyu, tender to the fork's touch and rich in flavor, was a true testament to the chef's commitment to quality, its succulence telling the tale of its carefully monitored and controlled preparation. Each mouthful was an unadulterated declaration of love for fine dining, a sensory experience akin to the lifting of a velvet curtain revealing a spectacle of opulent flavors. And then there were the oysters with mignonette sauce, as delightful in texture as they were in taste. The oysters were shucked to perfection, their briny goodness perfectly complemented by the sharp, vinegary mignonette. It was as if the Atlantic Ocean itself had delivered a personal greeting in the form of these briny bounties, with the mignonette acting as a perfect counterpoint, a vibrant conductor to this symphony of flavors. We, therefore, the representatives of the United Plates of America, appealing to the supreme judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the name and by the authority of the good people of this city, solemnly publish and declare, that Bambara Kitchen & Bar is, and of right ought to be, a five-star gastronomic institution, that it is absolved from all allegiance to the uninspired and the mundane, and that all culinary connection between it and the state of mediocrity, is and ought to be totally dissolved. In support of this declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine providence, we mutually pledge to Bambara our return patronage, our forks, and our sacred honor.
I had 4 meals here. All were great. The menu was restricted due to a staff event the first night, even so, the kitchen made an exception to serve some excellent oysters. Breakfasts were tasty and very generous. I had a classic one day and a salmon bagel the second day. The only thing I would say is that a little more cream cheese would have been good for the bagel. The lobster roll was generous and well cooked. I really liked the hot or cold option.
Great ambiance. Table attendant Katherine was very helpful and welcoming. Great spot to grab a quality breakfast/brunch. Flavors were amazing. Breakfast sandwich and oatmeal were our favorites.
The atmosphere at Bambara is really enjoyable. The layout of the tables is such that you can see everything while feeling nicely tucked away so that you can hear everyone at your table well even when things are busy. The waiter, Andres, was very knowledgeable about the menu and was able to make recommendations to accommodate allergies and a vegetarian at the table. Each dish was a triumph of flavor, creative, delicious, and filling. A great place for a special occasion meal!
