Reading some of the negative reviews, reminds me of that expression " You can please some of the people somtimes, but ya can't please all the people all the time"

I've been ordering from this place for 5 + years and will tell you, I've never once been disappointed.  The food is magnificent,  very fresh. The staff very professional and friendly.

So we went here one night to order take out. When we got inside we noticed one of the male cooks/owner was sitting down eating his food. We placed our order with a female/owner. She must have told him in there language to make this order. So he got up from eating his food and went right into the kitchen to start cooking without washing his hands. We asked the female if he was planning on washing his hands before preparing the food. We stated it’s unsanitary since we saw his eating with his hands and the chop sticks. She got defensive quickly and asked if we wanted a refund. We replied no. We said just tell him to wash his hands. So she asked if we still wanted the order. We said yes. We waited seconds later to see if she was planning on telling him but she never did. At that point we demanded our money refunded back to us. She give it back to us with an attitude like we said something out of place or out of line. We ate there multiple times before this incident. So keep in mind the smiles might nice but hands may not be clean while preparing your food.

Terrible Customer Service. We went here for lunch, the restaurant only had 2 other customers and still the lady servicing was terrible. I asked for just a water for drink and she brought me WARM water. I asked if she could give me ice water and she just brought a cup of ice. We also had to keep asking her for standard items such as straws and had to wait several minutes for her before she brought anything (again, the restaurant was not even busy, she was just taking her sweet time). Many of the things we asked for we wound up getting our selves aka self-service. Due to her lack of service we decided not to leave a tip (which I know is still frowned upon). Regardless, on our way out she asked the cashier very loudly "Did they pay? Did they pay?" which made things awkward  because people were looking at us as if we stole something or just walked away without paying. As we approached the car the lady came running out and in a whiny fashion said "Sir you didn't tip me. No tip? I take good care of you. There was no service charge." After a lengthy debate of her not providing us service whatsoever (I mean seriously, a tip for you bringing me a warm glass of water and then another glass of ice and no straws? Get Real). Finally, she ended the argument with "Keep it, you clearly need it more than I do". I guess despite her chasing us after a lack of tip like a beggar, we needed the money more than she did. Or maybe we can face reality and realize this is a restaurant, not a charity. If I had to self serve myself for everything you don't get a tip. Nonetheless, you don't treat your customers that way or call them out as if they stole something due to your disservice or tell them they are financially insecure. Very unprofessional. The food was good but the service and rude staff was so bad this definitely gets a one star.

I really love bamboo China 2 good food friendly service plenty of food I almost never can finish my meal he always save it for later but of course it's always take out for me and you can get delivery if you want.

I truly believe that they are the best tasting Chinese food in Manalapan Englishtown area. Flavored just right. The staff is friendly! LOVE THEM!
