Food was fair, nothing special, maybe even a little bland for my tastes. Service was good, and staff was friendly, but for the “lunch special”, it seemed a little pricey. Been to this restaurant few times now. My wife and I always look for great Asian food. It’s always been good flavored food and great service. We’ve had their fried pot stickers, Szechuan dumplings and their Phoenix chicken, along with the chow mein with bbq pork. It was all delicious and their Szechuan sauce is one of the best I’ve ever had the phoenix chicken is almost a cross between sesame chicken and a orange chicken with some heat in it . The chow mein noodles were cooked perfectly and the pork had a great bbq flavorThen the next time we got sweet and sour shrimppre coated in sauce Mongolian beef, egg rolls, orange peel chicken and the spicy beef soup. The Mongolian beef was a good rich sauce with the great thick gravyish style sauce with great flavor of garlic and soy. Orange peel had great flavor and pretty common orange sauce flavor. Sweet and sour shrimp comes presauced, not like some places where they give it to you to dip it. It all was great and couldn’t ask for better meals for the cost of them. They are pretty decent priced and their portions fit their price. Their staff has always been more than helpful and very responsive. Defiantly will be a go to for another Chinese food craving!
Good food, good presentation, service was prompt. It lacks a bit in ambiance. A bit of soft Chinese music and a few screens would go a long way. Bar is front and center should be in the back as you do not eat there, or better made into a great grill area!
Floors were very dirty. The staff couldn't provide any recommendations and said they dont eat here. I asked if the boa was beef or pork and she had no idea and just starred at me. Didnt bring us silverware or napkins. We kept having to call the waitress over to us to get any service to get drink, to order, for silverware and the check. The other waitress kept giving us and others dirty looks. When we asked her for nakins, she looked at us like we were the biggest inconvenience and then gave us a single napkin. The boa dough was tough, but they were ok. Not the best I've had. Ramen had good flavor but chicken in it was spongey. The chicken dish was half cold. Like all the chicken was cold and the noodles were warm. Both dishes were supposed to be spicey. Maybe if you think green peppers are spicy. Fried rice was Ok. NASTY water and fountain drinks. They need a better filter. We would not eat here again.
Decent food. Pretty generic. The fried rice was flavorless, the egg drop soup was alright.. I've never seen egg drop soup have corn in it. The sweet & sour chicken was a bit soggy, but edible. The egg rolls were good though!
The beef udon noodles are the definition of comfort food with mushroom and onions. Owners were very friendly and spoke to my kids. Wait staff was top notch. Only gripe is the unsweet tea was spoiled. My kids also loved the lazy Susan. Decor is nice, AC was nice. Two thumbs up!
This is by far the best Asian restaurant in the area bar none! The service was very good and the food was very good and generous. If you order any noole dish, you can watch the chef hand pull the noodles in a booth that is set up. Very happy to have some great Chinese food in town! One big thing that would make this place better is please add a filter to your water. Weatherford water is horrible and this shows up badly in tea.
The staff is friendly and quick to greet and help, that is wonderful. While they are new and service is slow, I'm not going to complain about that, as they have to work with what they have. The food however is...not great. They have an image of a plate of sesame chicken on a bed of rice on the front page of the menu but they do not offer that as a meal, so why is this smack dab in the front? The chow mein with chicken was hardly edible. The chicken had no seasoning and very bland flavoring, while the noodles had a very distinct sour taste to them. The sweet and sour chicken was somewhat decent but the vegetables were undercooked and very hard. This is a new place so I understand feedback is necessary but if this place wants to succeed they need to fix their entrees.
The waiting staff was kind and explained the menu completely without any hesitation. From the appetizers to the main course, the food was absolutely amazing. Cooked fresh, everything was as it should be! Dumplings and egg rolls were crispy as was the chicken and pork my friend ordered, even AFTER the sauces were on them! The chow mein was amazing and loaded. The soup and salad included with our lunches were also delicious. This is a restaurant Weatherford should NOT sleep on! Come in and get some of the best Chinese food I personally have ever had. You won't regret it!
Update: Went with the family for a Christmas dinner today! Everything was absolutely delicious and wonderful! We've even got plenty of leftovers for lunch tomorrow, portions were fantastic!!! Service: 10/10 Speed of Service: 10/10 Friendliness of Service: 10/10 Quality of Food: 10/10 Taste of Food: 10/10 Decent portions and reasonable prices with very friendly service! Unfortunately, our order was missing 2 items by the time I got home...almost 30 minutes away. So our family had to share what we had. The sauce for the dumplings tastes like straight soy sauce, but other than that, the food was flavorful. We will be back to try again in a month or so once they hopefully get a few kinks worked out. Oh, and they need some music for those choosing to dine in!
