It pains me to give one of my favorite store chains a bad review however I have to be honest. Normally every Banana Republic store I've visited across the country has exceptional customer service. I'm approached, greeted, and asked if I need help finding anything.

First allow me to say this was not my first visit to this location, it was my second. During this visit employees walked by be almost as if I were invisible. Nobody asked it I needed assistance and nobody acknowledged my presence (which is the first rule of retail to alleviate store theft).

Once I did need help I had to search for someone to assist me. The person assisting me was the manager whom I've spoken with before during my first visit. He helped me a great deal and gave advice on the suit/blazer I was viewing. Were it not for him this would be a half star review.

Watch out. Their cashiers will ask for your email address when buying something and promise that you won't get spammed with emails. Afterwards, you will be conveniently spammed with emails everyday!

Sure, it's easy to block promotion emails from Banana Republic. However, the problem here is they lied!

Some of their clothes are pretty nice, but then again it is on the higher end of the company which owns Gap. They're pretty organized and friendly so service doesn't take a back seat.
