Went bout 230 Saturday place wasn’t to full. Ordered 3 appetizers the fried pickles, green chili corn bread and deviled all. All 3 were really good with the exception of a hair in the cornbread which was taken off our bill. Now here comes the meats pulled pork, chopped brisket, fried bologna, burnt ribs and ribs. Yes all had good flavor and didn’t need sauce just to make them taste good. Overall I was pleased and can’t wait to go back to try more food
We stopped in for lunch around noon today. It was fairly busy but the service was still great. We decided on the Texas Twinkie’s as our appetizer and they were really good! For lunch we had the sliced brisket sandwich and one their salads I don’t recall which one it was. Overall the food is good. The brisket was fairly dry which wasn’t a deal breaker but it could have been better. Overall the place has a good feel to it. We would definitely recommend it.
Overall, I would come back because the food is worth it. I think the flavors are good and the value is there. Not many people have fried cabbage on there menu, which was YUM. Service was lacking. The server asked if I wanted chopped or sliced brisket, I said sliced, he brought me chopped. I ordered one beer, he brought us and charged us for two. We sat there waiting for a good 5 minutes before we even had a server approach us. It was 10:30AM and fewer than 12 patrons in the place. All the sides came in single use plastic containers. Why? The beers came in flimsy plastic cups. Seriously? The chopped brisket looked like dog food. The only reason why I’d go back - good food. Let’s hope it’s consistent. Pros: Turkey is amazing. Ribs are great. Sliced brisket is great. Beer selection is impressive. Bloody Mary was fun! Cons: Chopped brisket looks like dog food. I don’t think a single rib justifies making a Bloody Mary $20. Service is mediocre. So many plastic containers
The corn ribs were really good the hot sausage was also very good actually everything that we got was very good except for the regular brisket was not as good as Rudy's but in my opinion pretty hard to beat. The atmosphere was super cool the bartender gave us excellent service I wouldn't hesitate to go again.Food: 4/5
The drink I had was disgusting. Then the meat and sides that we all got were just average. Nothing too special. Fried pickles not too great. The only thing we’d come back for will be the Texas Twinkie’s. It was jalapeños stuffed with pulled pork. That was delicious. That’s what’s I would come back for.Recommended dishesTexas Twinkies
This place has capital behind it so you can expect it to be a hoppin place when the weather is cooler, and I can't lie, the decor and setup has style and potential. Wasn't here during the live music, but we did order a couple of things. BBQ flavor was fine, portion was just a bit small, but most places have portions about that large these days, and the sides were filling. I did enjoy the house BBQ sauces on the table. One final note: Bandees you have to fix those menus. If my server has to clarify multiple times because the menu is wrong or misleading then you gotta fix it.
First visit and was great. Even with the lunch rush no waiting for a table. Initial service a bit slow but it was lunch time. Choices were skillet enchiladas other was ribs, burnt ends with beans and coleslaw. Enchiladas were great at the restaurant but don't reheat well. Ribs were tender but a bit on the fatty side. Burnt ends were a bit take it or leave it. Came across more as cubes of meat than burnt ends. Beans have brisket in them, recommend. Coleslaw is also very good. Come hungry as portions are not small but bring your check book. Lunch plus tip was over $60. Still recommend
This place is truly off the hook. Just the beer on tap is worth several trips but it was the BBQ that got me. Their presentation is spot on and the flavor of the chopped beef sandwich I had was so delicious and the flavors were simply going off like fireworks. Bravo. The okra is average but they have it. My highest recommendation goes to Bandee's. Place was packed but I didn't wait even 1 min to be seated. I will be back...often
The food here is absolutely delicious. The best baked beans I have ever had at any restaurant in my life. Their fried okra was fabulous as well. Actually crispy and seasoned. The burger I got was amazing as well. There's a ton of meat on these burgers. I had to cut mine in half just to be able to eat it. And of course it tastes fantastic. I can't say enough good things about the food! Service matched the food quality as well! If you haven't eaten here yet, do it. It's a little pricey. But oh so worth it. Kid-friendliness: Kid menus and crayons offered Wheelchair accessibility: Handicapped parking and small ramp located right in front of front door. Tables are lower in height.
Atmosphere was good, TVs everywhere. If you want to watch a game, it's a plus for you. Doors were open for airflow. We were greeted and sat immediately, took a little bit for someone to greet our table and get drinks. Server had said they cut lots of people and host didn't tell anyone our table was sat. Food was delicious. I had the Brisket sandwichmy picture, I had already ate 1/4 of it, my daughters had the kids burger with mac and cheese mac and cheese is really good!, and the other had chicken stripssome of the best I've eaten around with fries. My sons had the BBQ burger he said it was okay, and the other had the turkey with mac and cheese. My husband had a salad, and the jalapeño poppersthey have different name, we got it without the twinkie he said they were okay, would be better without the sauce on them. Overall we would go back and try other food as well. I know all places are hurting on staff, we were patient and got good service when she got to us.
